Backyard Views, Horizontal Giclee Print
Hummingbird’s dance across my head as the bees explore a blooming magnolia flower. These summer evenings were one of my favorites. I had the honor of watching a close friend’s house on occasions and I loved to sit on the balcony and watch the sunset. This time around I decided to paint it. Each night I sat and added a layer. Slowly the painting emerged, encompassing the essence of the sunset. The stillness and the quiet echoed the serene bliss of the moments spent on that balcony. During my time here, I reveled in the quiet, so different from my normally loud life. Here I was able to truly connect with the world around me and understand the importance of silence.
This is a reproduction of “Backyard Views”, a watercolor painting on 140lb hot pressed watercolor paper. This painting was completed in July 2021.
This Giclee print is printed on Epson Somerset Velvet paper with archival pigmented inks. Each print is scanned from the original painting with a high pixel scanner and is signed. The print is printed with a one-inch white border around the image.
Each print is made to order and shipped directly from Finerworks, a small fine art Giclee printing company. When you order a print I will send you the estimated shipping times, please expect 7-14 business days for regular prints. In an effort to offer a variety of standard sizes, some of the ratios are cropped and vary slightly from the listing photo.
